Bike Week-end...

So, what is up with every time you fly into Orlando international airport from anywhere in the country, chances are your gate is filled with eleven-teen year old cheerleaders or dance teams, or mouseketeers? It is erie man. As I generally fly into and out of the races every week end, and I hate to start profiling passengers on my flight, but there are certain people or groups of people that you DO NOT want to sit by.
It is a given that you do not want to sit by babies, since there is a good chance they are going to cry or crap their pants. But on the other spectrum, there is a small chance they won't. But if you have a plane that is half filled with pre teen girls going to Orlando for a cheer contest..... Look out, guaranteed they will be sitting in rows of 3 yelling and singing and you will know all the latest gossip from their Junior High school hallways.  Not a chance in Hell you are getting any sleep on that flight, even if you try and go comatose on Dramamine.

Well, that was my rant about flying. So, once in Daytona it rained, and rained, it never did stop raining.Watch it on Speed TV, The end.

Atlanta Supercross

Hey All,
It has been awhile since I last posted anything about what has been going on lately. Time sure does fly when your racing every weekend! I can't believe we just finished up the 8th race of the season, and first East coast round of the season. All went pretty well this weekend,  as both Team Solitaire Riders were in the mains and near the Top Ten!
I also got to spend some time visiting my Uncle Jerry Black and his family. My Uncle now resides in Atlanta, after living in Tokyo, Japan for about ten years. Needless to say I have not been able to visit with him much, but we did spend some time together at this Race. It was his, and my young cousins first experience at  an A.M.A Supercross event so, I am sure they had an exciting time!

New Years in Vegas

Just returned from an amazing weekend in Vegas.... by amazing, I mean amazingly expensive! Never go to Vegas on New Years unless you are loaded ( with money ) that is. But it was lots of good old fashioned fun, shared with my girlfriend Janean, who happened to have her birthday on 12-31.  No wonder it was so expensive... a birthday on New Years eve? Who does that?

Janean and I enjoyed our time away in Vegas, took in some night life, watched the KA cirque de Soleil show at the MGM Grand, shopped,  ate a wonderful Birthday dinner ( I know what your thinking... and she was spoiled for her birthday) But Mine is May 3rd, during the last Supercross Race of the series. Also in Vegas! Maybe I will get a return...
One of the more Memorable parts of the weekend was Robbie Maddison's world record distance jump. The event set up was top notch, and you could feel the electricity in the air ( or maybe impending doom ), live bands played, and he landed a very, very,  very big jump ... twice!!

I wanted to thank my good friend Chad Parker for giving us a floor to crash on while whenever we are in town. Now I have to finish getting ready for Anaheim 1.
